hall-rental.ca is a free directory of halls for rent in Canada: banquet halls, community halls, wedding venues and rooms for meetings and parties. It lists 6,020 halls in 200 cities and towns across 9 provinces: Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.

How listings work

Every hall page shows the address, a map and directions, the rating from public reviews and the kinds of events the hall hosts. Listings start from public business information and the hall's own website. When a hall hasn't published something, the page says so rather than guessing.

An enquiry sent from a hall's page goes to that hall. On a city page, "Get quotes" sends one request to up to 8 halls that fit your event. hall-rental.ca is free for renters and takes no booking fee: you book and pay the hall directly.

Event vendors

181 city pages also show local event businesses below the halls: 1,539 caterers, 647 party rental firms, 355 DJs, 1,265 florists, 229 decorators and 573 event organizers. We list established local businesses with their own website and public reviews, and leave chain outlets out. Claim or add your business.

For hall owners

Hall owners can claim their listing for free and correct it. A Featured listing costs $49.95 a year plus tax ($99.95 in Brampton, Calgary, Edmonton, Etobicoke, Halifax, Hamilton, Mississauga, North Vancouver, North York, Ottawa, Saskatoon, Scarborough, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg). It puts the hall first in its city, with its own photos, capacity, rooms and prices, and a Featured badge. List or claim a hall.
